Scott has worked at Bloodshot Records for the past seven years; first as head of radio promotions, then head of retail, and now as label manager. In this position for four years, Scott acts primarily as the liason between the label and it’s various national and international distributors, and coordinates the activities and information flow between Bloodshot’s various departments. Prior to his tenure at Bloodshot, Scott worked as Head of Operations for the acclaimed Checkered Past label, and was also Vice President of Slewfoot Records for a brief stint. His love-hate relationship with the music biz was born out of his own experience as lead singer for various Chicago indie rock bands, and he continues to perform and record with various projects to this day. Happily, the love side of this equation still has the upper hand. --
