Matt Graves (@mgrooves) is a Director of Communications with Twitter.
Before joining Twitter, Graves served as the vice president of marketing and PR for imeem, where he was responsible for imeem’s communications strategy, including PR and employee communications, and oversaw a team tasked with marketing, editorial, & programming for the site.
Graves joined imeem from the Rhapsody music service, where he ran communications from its launch in 2001 through its spinoff into a joint venture with Viacom's MTV Networks. Prior to Rhapsody, Graves worked for boutique PR agencies InterActive Public Relations in San Francisco and Young & Associates in Rockville, Maryland.
Graves received a bachelor's degree in journalism, with a concentration in public relations, from the University of Maryland at College Park. He lives in San Francisco.
