Josh Rosenfeld, Co-Founder/President, Barsuk Records

Josh Rosenfeld is co-founder and president of Seattle indie label Barsuk Records. The label is most recognized as the home to albums by Death Cab for Cutie, Ra Ra Riot, Nada Surf, Menomena, Mates of State, The Long Winters, John Vanderslice, They Might be Giants, Rilo Kiley, and more. Recent and upcoming projects include albums from Say Hi, The Globes, Phantogram, Cymbals Eat Guitars, and Yellow Ostrich, plus an acclaimed deluxe vinyl reissue of The Dismemberment Plan's seminal album Emergency & I. Barsuk remains entirely independently owned by Rosenfeld and two partners who work at the label full-time as well.
