Zeeshan Zaidi serves as LimeWire’s Chief Operating Officer. He joined LimeWire in 2009 after a decade of working in entertainment and digital media in both creative and business capacities. Zeeshan previously spent seven years at Sony BMG in various roles, including VP of New Ventures for Sony BMG Global Digital Business Group, VP, Digital Business Operations for RCA Music Group, and Sr. Director, Marketing for Arista Records, where he helped develop the careers of superstars such as Avril Lavigne, Usher, Santana, OutKast, Pink, Dido, Sarah McLachlan and many others. He was COO and Head of Business Development for NABBR, an online media startup that distributes premium video entertainment content and brand advertising to a Gen Y audience. Zeeshan received an A.B in Economics from Harvard University, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a JD from Harvard Law School, and is admitted to the New York State bar. He has worked as a recording engineer, and enjoys playing the guitar, watching professional sports, and traveling.
